Annual Tropical Water Lilies
Tropical lilies are a beautiful centerpiece in your water garden. The flowers rise several inches out of the water and are more prolific than hardy lilies. Night-blooming lilies are quite popular with pond owners who like to enjoy their ponds later in the evening or early morning. Flowers of the day-blooming lilies, open mid-morning and remain open until late afternoon or early evening. Night blooming lilies open at dusk and stay open until mid-morning or noon. Tropical lilies can safely be placed outdoors when the water temperatures are a consistent 72+ degrees. Tropical lilies that are marked as "Viviparous" will tolerate cooler water temperatures and bloom later into the fall months. Our lilies are shipped bare-root.
