Lemon Bacopa is a low-growing marginal pond plant has tiny blue flowers throughout the summer months. Bacopa is a great pond plant for trailing over edges or cascading down a waterfall. An attractive plant for bogs and will also grow submerged. The leaves smell of lemon when crushed and it is an edible herb used for seasoning. Plant in a medium container in moist soil or in water 1 inch over the crown. Easily cultivated by cuttings from the stems. Easy to winter over in colder climates. Take some cuttings before the first frost in your area, put in a vase of water, place in a bright sunny window indoors.
